A Message from Our Superintendent
Welcome to College School District,
I am honored to serve as superintendent of a district with such a strong history, caring staff, and deep connection to the Santa Ynez Valley community.
One of the things that makes College School District special is that our schools still feel personal. Students are known by name. Families are part of the conversation. Teachers and staff work together to make sure children feel supported, challenged, and ready for what comes next.
Across our district, we are focused on strong academics, safe and welcoming campuses, and learning experiences that help students grow in confidence, curiosity, and character. We want every child to feel a sense of belonging and to know that the adults around them believe in their potential.
We are also grateful for the partnership of our families and community. Strong schools are built together, and College School District has long benefited from parents, staff, trustees, and community members who care deeply about our students and their future.

Board of Trustees
The College School District Board of Trustees provides leadership and governance to support the district’s mission and long-term goals.
Working collaboratively with district leadership, the Board is responsible for setting policy, overseeing fiscal responsibility, and making decisions that support student achievement and educational excellence.

The College School District Board of Trustees typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in Conference Room 4 at Santa Ynez Elementary School, unless otherwise noted. Regular meetings are open to the public, and special meetings may be scheduled as needed.
Community members are encouraged to attend and may provide public comment on agenda items in accordance with Board policy and the Brown Act. Agendas are posted on the District website and at both school offices at least 72 hours before regular meetings and 24 hours before special meetings. Requests to place an item on a future agenda should be submitted in writing to the Superintendent at least 10 days before the next regular Board meeting.

Business hours are between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. If possible, try to limit visits or phone calls to the office until after 8:30 a.m., unless it is an emergency.
Where to Enter
For campus safety, all visitors should check in with the District Office before going to classrooms, playground areas, or school events.
When you arrive, please park in the designated visitor parking area and follow signs to the District office. A member of our office staff will be happy to help you check in, answer questions, or direct you to your appointment.
