College School District Complies with H1Ni Virus Guidelines

College School District complies with State and Federal Guidlines regarding the H1N1 "Swine Flu" Virus and its treatment. Further information regarding this virus is available at the following website:

Both sites are being thoroughly cleaned this week in accordance with these guidelines to control the flu virus on environmental surfaces.

Resources for families can be found at http://pandemicflu.gov/plan/individual/index.html. Specific safeguards for students include:

• Teach your children to wash hands frequently with soap and water, and model the
  current behavior.
• Teach your children to cover coughs and sneezes with tissues, and be sure to model
  that behavior.
• Teach your children to stay away from others as much as possible if they are sick.
  Stay home from work and school if sick.

Check your child for these signs of illness:

✔ Coughing, with other signs of illness
✔ Fever or Chills
✔ Sore throat or trouble swallowing
✔ Headache
✔ Muscle aches
✔ Sneezing
✔ Vomiting
✔ Diarrhea
✔ Breathing trouble
✔ Unusual spots or rashes
